Dear Friends, Family and Supporters of the Trumbles,
My
name is Alison and my husband and Dan have been good friends since 7th grade.
Starting in college, we spent a good deal of our lives with the Trumbles,
including family vacations, card nights, potlucks and even having them live in
the house behind us. Their kids and ours have grown up together, until
about 2 years ago. :-(
Recently,
Dan mentioned in one of his emails, the details of their return to the States
for their year long furlough. I believe they are coming back June of
2013. [I think it is quite likely that we will be coming back for good when we come back, not just for a one year furlough--Dan 27 May 2012] Dan mentioned that he and Beth's desire was to send their kids back
to Evangelical Christian Academy. Their kids have attended this school in
the past. Since Christian education can be costly, I have spoken with the
Superintendent of the school and he has agreed to set up an account in the
Trumbles name. If you are interested in assisting in this project, simply send
a check to Evangelical Christian Academy for any amount. This is a
tax-deductible gift so DO NOT write "Trumbles" on the
check. Simply write "Scholarship" on the memo line, then place
a sticky note or a note paper clipped to the check saying "I
love the Trumbles" or something of that nature. ECA will then mail
you a receipt.
